Managing Campaigns

How to add, organize, and configure individual campaigns within a campaign group — including labels, ordering, and the override system.

The campaigns within a group are managed from the group's configuration page. You can add and remove campaigns, customize how they appear within the group, reorder them, and control whether each campaign uses the group's shared settings or its own.

Adding and Removing Campaigns#

Add campaigns to your group by searching from the available list. Only published and draft campaigns can be added — archived campaigns are excluded. A campaign can belong to multiple groups at the same time, so you can surface the same campaign in different contexts.

Removing a campaign from a group does not delete the campaign itself — it simply removes the association. The campaign continues to exist independently and remains in any other groups it belongs to. A group must have at least one campaign to be published.

Labels and Ordering#

Each campaign in a group has a label — a custom display name for how the campaign appears within the group context. The label overrides the campaign's display title on the group page. For example, a campaign called "FC-2026-003" internally might be labeled "Medical Fund" for donors browsing the group.

Campaigns can be reordered to control how they're displayed on the group's public page. The order you set determines what donors see first.

The Override System#

In split mode, each campaign can either use the group's shared settings or its own individual settings. This is controlled by a per-campaign override toggle.

When override is off (the default), the campaign uses the group's settings for content, theme, fees, Zakat, and other configurable options. This lets you configure settings once at the group level and have them apply consistently to all campaigns.

When override is on, the campaign ignores the group's settings and uses its own configuration instead. This is useful when one campaign in the group needs different fee handling, Zakat settings, or content than the rest.

Aggregate mode

In aggregate mode, the override toggle is not available — all campaigns always use the group's settings, since donations are pooled together into a unified experience.
